$55,700 in CDBG funds awarded for planning grants

The Nebraska Department of Economic Development (DED) has awarded $55,700 in Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) funding to assist Greenwood and Union with ongoing planning efforts. These mark the second set of awards in the third cycle of funding for planning projects from 2014 CDBG allocations.

The Nebraska Department of Economic Development (DED) has awarded $55,700 in Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) funding to assist Greenwood and Union with ongoing planning efforts. These mark the second set of awards in the third cycle of funding for planning projects from 2014 CDBG allocations.

Greenwood has been awarded $30,000 to complete a comprehensive development plan and Union $25,700 to complete a comprehensive plan and street improvement plan.

The grants are part of Nebraska’s annual allocation of CDBG funding from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development. Funds are administered by DED.

These are the second set of awards in the third cycle of funding for planning projects from 2014 CDBG allocations.
