DED Briefing scheduled for Dec. 12 Lincoln location changed to NET; video conferencing sites added in North Platte and Scottsbluff

The Nebraska Department of Economic Development (DED)'s free 2013 Briefing has changed its Lincoln location to Nebraska Educational Telecommunications (NET), 1800 N. 33rd St., in the NET boardroom, and will be video conferenced to two additional sites. The Briefing is scheduled for Thursday, December 12, 9 a.m.-1 p.m. (CST), with lunch provided by the Nebraska Public Power District.

The two video conferencing sites are:
North Platte: ESU #16, 1221 W. 17th St., Distance Learning room
Scottsbluff: State Office Building, 505A Broadway, Suite 500, Voc. Rehab. Dept.

DED’s Briefing is an informational and educational session geared to new economic developers and others interested in economic development programs and services. DED staff discusses the components that make up the state’s economic growth and development, including existing business retention and expansion, housing, community development, and innovation and entrepreneurship.

Reservations are required. Please register no later than Thursday, December 5 with Lori Cole at lori.a.cole@nebraska.gov .

Sites with less than 5 registrants will be canceled.
