Nebraska’s grant and investment Innovation programs will be the key topic of upcoming meetings in Ogallala, Sidney, Scottsbluff, Alliance and McCook, October 23-25.
Joe Fox, business innovation manager with the Nebraska Department of Economic Development and Dan Hoffman, chief operating officer of Invest Nebraska will discuss how the state’s programs are encouraging and supporting the transfer of technology and innovation in rural and urban areas to encourage entrepreneurship and create high growth high-tech microenterprises and businesses.
“The bottom line is that there’s available funding to support start-ups and small businesses, particularly related to the advancement of technology, and we want to get the word out about how these programs can benefit business-owners and communities alike,” said Fox.
Note: All meeting times are Mountain Daylight Time, except McCook. The meetings will be held:
Wednesday, Oct. 23

Friday, Oct. 25
10 am-Noon: McCook, Keystone Building training room, 402 Norris Avenue.
