More than $1.9 million awarded for housing projects in Nebraska

The Nebraska Department of Economic Development has awarded $1,997,834 in Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) funding for owner-occupied  housing rehabilitation projects to communities in southeastern, south central, southwestern and northeastern Nebraska.

The Nebraska Department of Economic Development has awarded $1,997,834 in Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) funding for owner-occupied  housing rehabilitation projects to communities in southeastern, south central, southwestern and northeastern Nebraska.

The projects include:

Southeast Nebraska

  • Falls City has received $250,000 CDBG funds to help rehabilitate eight owner-occupied homes owned by people earning at or below 80 percent of the Area Median Income (AMI).  For information contact Gary Jorn at 402-245-2851 or clerktreasurer@sentco.net

South Central

  • Aurora and Central City has been awarded $419,202 in CDBG funding to rehabilitate 14 owner-occupied homes of people earning at or below 80 percent of the AMI in Aurora and Central City. For information contact Jane Berry at 402-694-6992 or grantadmin@cityofaurora.org

Southwest
