$50,000 prototype grant awarded Lincoln company for cutting-edge bottling system

With help from a $50,000 Nebraska Innovation Fund Prototyping Program (Pre-seed Stage) grant, Norland International is on its way to developing another state-of-the-art bottling system. The program is administered by the Nebraska Department of Economic Development.

Nebraska's grant and investment Innovation programs will be the key topic of upcoming meetings in Ogallala, Sidney, Scottsbluff, Alliance and McCook, October 23-25. Joe Fox, business innovation manager with the Nebraska Department of Economic Development and Dan Hoffman, chief operating officer of Invest Nebraska will discuss how the state's programs are encouraging and supporting the transfer of technology and innovation in rural and urban areas to encourage entrepreneurship and create high growth high-tech microenterprises and businesses.
