Public comment sought on proposed 2016-2017 Qualified Action Plan for Nebraska Site and Building Fund Program

The Nebraska Department of Economic Development (DED) will conduct a public comment period from November 17-December 1 to take remarks from citizens regarding the proposed 2016-2017 Qualified Action Plan for the State of Nebraska Site and Building Fund Program.

The Nebraska Department of Economic Development (DED) will conduct a public comment period from November 17-December 1 to take remarks from citizens regarding the proposed 2016-2017 Qualified Action Plan for the State of Nebraska Site and Building Fund Program.

The Site and Building Development Program is authorized under Nebraska Revised Statutes at §§81-12,144 to 81-12,151. The Qualified Action Plan sets forth DED’s priorities and selection criteria for awarding grants, as well as outlining activities eligible for assistance under the Site and Building Development Act.

Copies of the proposed Qualified Action Plan will be available November 17 on DED’s website: http://staging.neded.org/business/talent-a-innovation-initiative/site-and-building-development-fund, or can be requested from Mikhaila Heim at 800-426-6505, or email: mikhaila.heim@nebraska.gov.
