“I grew up in Nebraska, was educated in the Midwest, and went on to a 33-year career with NASA, including two missions to the International Space Station. In my experience, Offutt Air Force Base is an ideal location to house the U.S. Space Command headquarters. The ‘educational infrastructure’ in Nebraska is well-positioned to provide a current, and future, workforce that is steeped in a strong work ethic, integrity and honesty. It is with pleasure and confidence that I support the Offutt AFB candidacy for this important and timely U.S. Space Command headquarters.”
