The Nebraska Department of Economic Development (DED) will conduct a public comment period from February 28 to March 6, 2020, to accept feedback regarding a proposed amendment to the 2020-2021 Intern Nebraska (InternNE) grant program Qualified Action Plan.

The InternNE program is authorized in Nebraska Revised Statutes §§81-1210.01 to §§81-1210.03. The Qualified Action Plan sets forth DED’s priorities and selection criteria for awarding grants, as well as strategies for marketing internships to Nebraska students in high schools, colleges, universities and other institutions of higher education in Nebraska.

Copies of the proposed amendment to the 2020-2021 Qualified Action Plan will be available starting on February 28, 2020, on the DED website at https://opportunity.nebraska.gov/program/intern-nebraska/.
