The Nebraska Department of Economic Development (DED) is now accepting second round applications for the 2022 Rural Workforce Housing Fund (RWHF) program year. A Letter of Intent will be due by October 19, 2023, at 6:00 p.m. CT. The last day to submit an application will be Thursday, December 7, 2023, at 6:00 p.m. CT.
2022 RWHF awards from the first application round were announced May 11, 2023. A total of $22,805,000 was awarded to 27 organizations of the approximately $29,555,112 available. The Department is initiating a second application round for the 2022 program year cycle for the remaining amount of approximately $6,750,112.
Eligible applicants are Nebraska based 501(c)(3), 501(c)(4), and 501(c)(6) non-profit housing or related service organizations. The Letters of Intent must be submitted to nick.dropinski@nebraska.gov. Applications shall be submitted electronically through DED’s Grant Management System, AmpliFund, at any time after the application live date and before the due date.
