Nebraska NEXT (Nebraska Employment eXploration & Transition) is the statewide talent attraction event strategy to connect people with purpose, place, and opportunity—part of the larger The Good Life Is Calling campaign.
Attention: The deadline to submit Talent Proposal Initiatives has been extended to Friday, December 20, 2024.
Our goal is to retain and attract top talent to Nebraska by linking individuals with employers, communities, and resources that help them make the decision to move to Nebraska or stay and make Nebraska home.

- Collegiate Talent Forum: After class engagements to connect with students and opportunities.
- Elite Weekend – Curated experiences for out-of-state students exploring Nebraska’s industries and quality of life.
- Back to the Good Life – Events for alumni and root-returners ready to explore a return home.
- Live Well, Live Here – Community tours highlighting quality of life, neighborhoods, schools and housing.

Nebraska Next: Connecting Service Members to Careers and Communities
Nebraska Next: Connecting Service Members to Careers and Communities is a half-day immersive experience designed for transitioning service members and their spouses currently stationed at Offutt AFB.The event connects attendees with Nebraska employers, veteran professionals (“previous movers”), educational institutions, and community resource partners—helping them explore meaningful careers and community life in Nebraska.

Tiered sponsorships are available for employers, educational institutions, and community partners. Sponsorships help cover event costs and expand the reach of Nebraska NEXT and The Good Life is Calling campaign.
