Nebraska Low and Moderate Income Summary Data

The following Data Sets for the ACS Data are found on the HUD Exchange Website:

ACS 5-Year 2016-2020 Low- and Moderate-Income Summary Data – HUD Exchange

  1. Local Government — Most frequently used, this method pulls LMI data for a Place (city or village).
    1. HUD EXCHANGE website
    2. In right column, click on Local Government Summaries
    3. Click on ACS 2016-2020 Low-Mod All Local Governments
    4. Filter by State, then Community
  2. All Block Groups — For geographic format, use this method which allows applicants to combine geographies to best represent service areas.
    1. HUD EXCHANGE website
    2. In right column, click on All Block Groups
    3. Click on ACS 2016-2020 All Block Groups
    4. Filter by State, then County
  3. ACS Map Application — This method provides a tool to find LMI for individual census block group(s), place (includes census designated plan, consolidated cities, and incorporated places), county subdivisions, and county. DO Not combine different layers when building a service area.
    1. HUD EXCHANGE website
    2. In right column, click on Map Application
    3. Scroll down for Instructions on how to use map
    4. Click on Map located on top left of page
    5. In Search bar, type in ‘Community name, State abbreviation’
